Terms of Service

These are the rules for using TagWorth, in plain English. By using the site, you're agreeing to them. We wrote this ourselves — it's not a copy-pasted template.
What TagWorth does
You upload a photo of a clothing item. Our AI tries to identify it, estimates what it might sell for secondhand, and writes a resale listing you can copy and paste. That's the whole service.
Prices are estimates, not promises
This is the most important thing to understand. The prices TagWorth shows are AI-generated estimates, not guarantees. The actual amount your item sells for depends on the buyer, the platform, timing, condition, and plenty of things we can't see in a photo.
Treat our numbers as a starting point for your own research — not an appraisal, not a valuation, and not a promise of what you'll get. The same goes for brand identification and the listing text: the AI can be wrong, so double-check anything before you rely on it.
Your account
- You need to sign in with an email address (or Google) to save scans and buy credits.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your email secure.
- One person, one account. Don't create multiple accounts to get around the free-scan limit.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use TagWorth.
Fair use
When using TagWorth, you agree not to:
- Upload photos you don't have the right to use, or anything illegal, offensive, or not a clothing item.
- Scrape, bulk-download, resell, or automate access to the service.
- Try to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or get around the limits of the service (including the free-scan cap).
- Use TagWorth to build a competing product.
We can suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
Payments and scans
- Free scans: new accounts get a small number of free scans to try the service.
- Paid plans and credits: after that, you can buy a one-time pack or a monthly subscription. Prices are shown before you pay.
- Monthly scans reset each cycleand don't roll over — it's use-it-or-lose-it. Same for any top-up credits.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- You can cancel a subscription anytime via the “Manage subscription” link. Cancelling stops future charges; it doesn't refund the current period, and you keep access until the period ends.
Refunds
Because each scan costs us real money the moment the AI runs, paid scans and credits are generally non-refundable once purchased.
That said, we're reasonable people. If something genuinely went wrong — you were double-charged, the service was broken, a payment didn't deliver the credits — email us at tagworth.support@gmail.com and we'll make it right.
Your content
The photos you upload and the scans you create are yours. By uploading, you give us permission to process them so we can run the service (including sending them to our AI provider to identify the item). We don't claim ownership of your photos and we don't sell them. See our Privacy Policy for the details.
The service is provided “as is”
We work hard to keep TagWorth accurate and available, but we can't promise it will be perfect, error-free, or up all the time. The service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, TagWorth is not liable for any losses that come from using the service — including selling (or not selling) an item for more or less than an estimate suggested. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
Changes to the service or these terms
TagWorth is an evolving product. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may change pricing or shut the service down. If we make a meaningful change to these terms, we'll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and significant changes will be emailed to active users. Continuing to use TagWorth after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which TagWorth's operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located there.
