Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 30, 2026

This is the plain-English version of what TagWorth does with your information. We're a small team, and we wrote this ourselves — it's not a copy-pasted template.

What we collect

When you use TagWorth, we collect:

  • Your email address — when you sign in. We use it to identify your account and to send you sign-in codes.
  • Photos you upload — the clothing photos you submit for scanning.
  • Scan results— the AI's identification, estimated price, and listing text are saved to your account so you can come back to them.
  • Payment info — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe hands us back a customer ID, a record that you bought something, and your subscription status.
  • Basic web logs — your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visited. Standard for any website; helps us debug.

How we use it

  • To run the scan service — send your photos to the AI, save the result so you can find it later.
  • To email you sign-in codes when you log in.
  • To process payments and remember which plan or credits you have.
  • To improve the product — looking at what's slow, what's breaking, what features get used.

We do not sell your data. We do not run ads. We do not share your scans with anyone outside the third parties listed below.

Who we share it with

To run TagWorth, we use a few third-party services. Each only gets the data it needs:

  • Anthropic (Claude AI) — we send your scan photos so the AI can identify the item. See Anthropic's privacy policy.
  • Supabase — stores your account, scan history, and credit balance.
  • Vercel — hosts the website and processes web requests.
  • Stripe — processes payments. See Stripe's privacy policy.
  • Google — if you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile info.

That's the full list. No advertising networks, no analytics resellers, no data brokers.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in. That's it. No tracking cookies, no third-party advertising cookies.

How long we keep your data

  • Scans:until you delete them from “My scans” or delete your account.
  • Account info: until you delete your account.
  • Payment records: Stripe keeps these per their own policy. We keep your Stripe customer ID indefinitely so we can recognize you on return purchases.

Your rights

You can:

  • View your data— it's all in “My scans” and your account settings.
  • Delete individual scans— the trash icon next to each scan in “My scans.”
  • Delete your account — email us at tagworth.support@gmail.com and we'll remove everything within 7 days.
  • Cancel subscriptions— via the “Manage subscription” link on the home or scan page (handled by Stripe).

If you live in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA (data portability, correction, the right to be forgotten). Email us at tagworth.support@gmail.com and we'll honor any of these.

Children

TagWorth is for adults selling secondhand items. It isn't intended for users under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe we have, email us and we'll delete it immediately.

Changes to this policy

If we make a meaningful change, we'll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be emailed to active users.
